Managed IT Services

Resolution Technology tailors its approach to delivering managed IT services based on customer requirements. Our customers have the ability to customise the managed service offering depending on their own unique business requirements.

Our Managed IT Services include:

Our Helpdesk Services act as the first point of call for your IT support requirements. Our Service Centre team performs a range of activities including user administration tasks (i.e. resetting passwords and creating new accounts) through to desktop administration tasks (i.e. provisioning new workstations and hardware).

Resolution Technology also offers customers full Desktop Administration and Management Services including desktop imaging and deployment, asset management, and patching and security management as well. We can also assist you with developing a capital rollover strategy to ensure your workstation fleet is fully optimised and that assets are disposed as they near end of life.

In addition our Helpdesk Services and Desktop Administration and Management offering, we also offer full Server Administration and Management where Resolution Technology will take over the day to day maintenance and administration of your server infrastructure.

As part of this service, we assume full control of your infrastructure environment and take proactive action to ensure that key functions such as data backups, security patches, and operational maintenance activities are occurring on a regular basis. Cloud Migrations

Resolution Technology has been a leading facilitator in migrating a wide range of businesses and organisations from their legacy on-premise equipment to cloud-based infrastructure.

This approach has enabled our customers to free themselves from the traditional issues associated with on-premise infrastructure. We have extensive experience in the migration space and work closely with our customers to ensure that cloud-based solutions and offerings match their business requirements. We then work closely with our customers to scope their requirements and develop a plan to migrate them to the cloud.

Microsoft Office 365

Resolution Technology has worked extensively with Microsoft Office 365 since it was first released and was an early pioneer in the field of migrating customers from on-premise mail systems to cloud-based mail platforms beginning one of Australia’s first migrations to Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite.

Our deployment experience covers a number of industries (including Aviation, Engineering, and Education and Training) and business sizes ranging from 10 seat migrations through to 3,000 seat migrations.

Virtual CIO Consulting

At Resolution Technology we recognise that many organisations cannot afford the expenses of recruiting and hiring a permanent Chief Information Officer to assist in developing strategic IT plans or decisions.

We offer a Virtual CIO consulting service that is independent of our Sales and Service Delivery teams and works very closely with our customers to help them develop IT strategies, enterprise architecture, implement IT governance mechanisms, and selective sourcing decisions (i.e. assisting in negotiating key software licensing agreements with software vendors).

Private Networks

Leveraging our strategic partnership with Telstra and other parties as required, Resolution Technology is uniquely positioned to help its customers to design high performance networks across Australia and overseas.

Our consulting team has extensive experience implementing virtual private networks right across Australia using technology from a range of vendors such as CheckPoint, Cisco, and Microsoft.
